Process
Developing the Healthcare UX Principles
Design with Care began with a focus on addressing the unique challenges in healthcare design. After extensive research, I developed the 10 Healthcare UX Principles, a core framework that helps guide designers in creating user-centered, equitable healthcare experiences. These principles serve as the foundation for improving patient outcomes, accessibility, and overall healthcare experience through design.
Curating Content and Engaging the Community
To keep the platform relevant and valuable, I continuously curate and develop content for the Design with Care newsletter, which reaches over 1,000 subscribers. The newsletter covers a wide range of topics, including best practices in healthcare design, emerging UX trends, and case studies. I also highlight real-world applications of the Healthcare UX Principles, providing actionable insights for designers to integrate into their own work.
Building a Collaborative Community
The Design with Care Discord community, with over 1,000 active members, is central to the platform’s success.
